He teaches courses in Structure and Function of the Human Body I, Structure and Function of the Human Body II, Exercise Physiology (both with and without laboratory), Therapeutic Exercise for Athletic Injuries, Therapeutic Modalities for Athletic Injuries, Exercise for Special Populations and Introduction to the Allied Health Professions. Dr. Chaloupka is active in conducting research in exercise physiology and sports medicine and presents his research at state, regional and national professional meetings. He pursues an active publication schedule and has published peer-reviewed research studies in exercise physiology, orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine in national and international journals. Dr. Chaloupka also serves on committees for state, regional and national professional organizations (most notably the American College of Sports Medicine) and practices as a clinical physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics and sports physical therapy. Dr. Chaloupka holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health and
Physical
Education and a Master of Science Degree in Education from Queens
College
of the City University of New York. In addition, he has earned a
Graduate
Certificate of Proficiency in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann Medical

and a Doctor of Philosophy in Exercise Physiology from The Ohio State
University.
