College of Engineering
The College of Engineering was started as a result of a $100 million donation in 1992 from Henry Rowan. It has a brand new engineering building, including state-of-the-art equipment and computer resources, and a dedicated and extremely competent faculty. Facilities such as seminar and lecture rooms, laboratories, computer rooms, audiovisual equipment and study hall space are located in Rowan University's state-of the art Henry M. Rowan Hall. The home of the College of Engineering has 92,500 sq. ft. of space with multifunctional state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories.

Rowan’s College of Engineering is ranked 16th (tied) among the nation’s best undergraduate engineering programs whose highest degree is a bachelor’s or master’s degree. In that category, the college’s chemical engineering program is ranked second among specializations.

The College of Engineering, which graduated its first class just seven years ago, was ranked 20th (tied) last year, while the chemical engineering program was ranked third.

In addition to the University’s overall ranking, Rowan’s College of Engineering also is ranked nationally by U.S. News. The college is ranked 16th (tied) among the nation’s best undergraduate engineering programs whose highest degree is a bachelor’s or master’s degree. In that category, the college’s chemical engineering program is ranked second among specializations.
