German Lit Part 6

They keep the town pretty.

Had coffee with guide Stephanie and some of the younguns.

Walked to the Town Church and found a wedding about to commence.

Made a quick trip in to see the alter piece.

Town square was empty on Sunday.

Saw this walking back to the hotel.

Arrived in Berlin the next day. Took the metro.

Found a festival. Carnival of Culture. Food.

Colorful neighborhood.

Old church near the edge of festivities.

Walked to the Charlottenberg Palace.

Neat old stuff inside.

Its good to be the king.

Even the ceilings were wonderful.

Nice desk. They did know how to live.

Selfie. Somebody likes ceramics.

The place was not too shabby.

Nice gardens out back.

The group was pooped.

Went to the hotel Ibis and then to dinner.

Next morning we went on a walking tour with a city guide Richard taking the Ubahn to the beginning point. He had worked for the US State Department when the wall went up and was there when it went down. Interesting guy.

Went in this church.

Art everywhere.

This is one of the buildings on Museum Island which we will visit the next day.
