In an effort to provide elementary school students with a musical experience that does more than give an overview of the music and instruments, Ensemble Galilei has created Anna's garden.

Narrated by a professional actor, with music drawn from Ireland and Scotland, from the Renaissance, and original compositions, the story combines the universal themes of good and evil, loyalty and betrayal, loss and resurrection, with the appearance of noble and scary characters, humorous vultures and magic spells cast in the night.

Following the performance, the musicians engage the students in an extended question and answer period.
