Welcome to my professional portfolio page. Throughout the semester in Writing, Research and Technology we have been learning to create webpages.
Since technology plays such a big role today's world, this online portfolio allows potential employers to access information quickly and efficiently without having to look through hundreds of pages in a bulky binder. My first work sample is a modified lesson plan that was accomplished in my Differentiated Literacy Instruction Class.
Next, is a memoir I wrote in a creative writing class about my travels to Dominican Republic. Follwing is a research paper I completed for an Evaluating Writing class. The paper describes negative affects high-stakes testing has on students. The technologies and writing tab was written in Introduction to Writing Arts as Dr. Tweedie’s final assignment.
It incorporates all the written technologies I have used since I was a child up to today. Lastly, I included part of my content term paper for Curriculum and Assessment class. I wrote about the main concept equality and how it relates to Science, Social Studies, Visual and Performing Arts, and Health and Physical Development. This class taught me how important it is to interconnect ideas within all subject areas of school. I hope you enjoy my work samples :)
