The Physical Education
'Hall of Shame'

Neil Williams, the chairman of the health and physical education department at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, Conn., periodically updates this list of childhood games he considers inappropriate for physical education classes. The list first appeared in conjunction with a series of articles he wrote in the 1990s for The Journal of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
