My name is Megan Esola and I am an undergraduate student at Rowan University in Southern New Jersey. My graduation is slated for May 2010, at which point I will receive dual B.A.'s in both Elementary Education and Writing Arts, as well as an endorsement in Reading Education.
I keep myself busy as a member of Kappa Delta Pi, a national educational honors society. and as vice president of Rowan's Newman Club. I have also spent the last nine months raising Russ, a 12 month-old German Shepherd puppy who will return to The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ next year to train for guide work. Taking care of a puppy full time has proved to be a valuable learning experience, as I balance the demands of an energetic dog with school, work and personal activities.
Currently, I am building my own business as an independent consultant for Arbonne International, a company that markets natural, safe and effective skin care and health and wellness products. I truly enjoy bringing quality products to my clients, and giving others the opportunity to achieve their goals with their own home-based business.
I also put in a few hours a week as a private tutor and a student worker. Life is always busy, but that's the way I like it.
In the future, I intend to work in a non-traditional educational setting, as a reading specialist, or a tutor for the physically challenged or incapacitated. I would like to volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center like Good Counsel Homes, teaching resume building and professional writing skills to mothers in need. As for my business goals, I plan to take full advantage of the Arbonne Opportunity, and promote to National Vice President status by 2013.
Yet my chief goal is to aways keep in mind what is most important - my family who supports me, my community who gives me purpose, and my faith that sustains me.
