Steps for cutting a piece of wood on
the Bandsaw

Make sure you have your safety glasses and your piece of wood is properly
marked

- Make sure guide of bandsaw just clears work piece. Turn set screw
to loosen guide.

|

- If cutting a curved piece of wood youmay have to cut some release
or kerf cuts. Turn the saw on and slowly push blade to where the cut
will eventually be. The idea is that as the blade is cutting the waste
pieces will fall aside and keep the blade from binding.

|

- Turn saw on a gently push wood through blade.
- Be careful of binding the blade
|
|

- When you have cut through the wood turn off saw
|
|

- Wait until blade has stopped completly before removing off cut pieces
of wood.
