| My name is Jacquelyn Halbach and I am a senior at Rowan University. I am from Parsippany, New Jersey, which is about two hours north of Rowan. My Major is Elementary Education with a coordinate in Writing Arts and Communications. I am currently working at a Free to Be Me Preschool where I am an assistant teacher in the two year old classroom. I love working with children and someday hope to be a teacher for any level between kindergarten and third grade. My interest in teaching first started through a program called "Target Teach" offered by my high school. Those in this program were sent to an elementary school for half of the school day to shadow a teacher. This is how I first became interested in Elementary Education. I am currently taking Writing, Reasearch and Technology and hoping to learn more about web design as we progress. |  |
