Course Objectives: 

 

  • Data, data, and more stuff about data.
    • What is geospatial data?
    • Where does data come from?
    • How does one create data?
    • How to organize, manage and manipulate data?
    • How to document data?
  • Get familiar with data commonly used in New Jersey.
  • Geoprocessing – how to manipulated data to achieve new information
  • Advance Analysis with ArcMap
  • Learn how to propose, develop, organize, research, operationalize, analyze and present a GIS-based project.
  • Develop public presentation skills/ confidence in presenting spatial information
  • YOUR OBJECTIVES HERE
