Our laboratory studies (1) cellular signaling in response to hypoxia and (2) mutation analysis using whole-genome sequencing.  We employ various microbes, including the model organisms, S. cerevisiae and E. coli.  We use genetic, genomic and bioinformatic approaches.  If you are interested in joining the lab, contact Mark Hickman (below).
