Course Description:
This course is designed to
provide the student with the skills required to be a great engineer
Course
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, the
student will:
- Be introduced to the practice and profession of engineering through engineering measurements;
- Survey of fundamental concepts drawn from the four engineering disciplines;
- Be introduced to teamwork and cooperative learning;
- Understand the method of problem solving;
- Develop technical communication skills in graphical, written, and oral formats;
- Be introduced to the design process, and
- Be introducted to safety, professionalism and ethics.
