      Course Deliverables:

  • Provide the foundation necessary for students to become:
    • Creative engineering designers, and
    • Effective engineering communicators
  • Participation in one of eleven (11) specific topical activities and team modules that will be detailed and updated on a timely manner via this website including:
    • Pilot Rowan Recycling Pilot Program Development  (see Pilot)
    • Policy and Strategies for Recycling on College Campuses  (see Policy)
    • Marketing, Communications & Web Development Team  (see Marketing)
    • Data Collection and Analysis Team  - The Rowan Waste Stream  (see Dumpster Dive)
    • Recycling Materials Team 1 - Bulk (Aluminum, Glass, Paper, etc.)  (see Materials 1)
    • Recycling Materials Team 2 - Specialty (Grass Clippings, Foodstuffs, etc.)  (see Materials 2)
    • Recycling Materials Team 3 - Specialty (PCs, Monitors, Flourescent Tubes, etc.)  (see Materials 3)

  • Present at Weekly Clinic Monday Meetings the status of your module, as well as keeping this status current on the web (Recycling Team # updates.).
  • Provide the context of Recycling at Rowan in the global and regional scheme of the environment via guest speakers, tours to recylcing facilities and a final group presentation, roundtable/forum or debate.

Classroom Policies:
