      Course Deliverables:

  • Expose students to the skill sets, roles and responsibilities of the professional engineering consultant in society.
  • Provide a rich consulting experience in which the student identifies and markets their own competitive skill set to internal/external clients in the completion of a consultative engagement and/or work management activity. 
  • Attendance and participation in Panel discussions on emerging/frontier engineering topics from the following broad areas:
    • Systems and Controls, Solid-state electronics, DSP, Communications, Electromagnetics,    Computer Architecture, Software, Renewable Energy Technologies (PV, Wind, etc), Energy Storage Systems, Energy Efficient Technologies (lighting, controls, etc.)
    • Emerging technologies related to ECE
  • Participation in specific topical activities and training modules that will be announced via this website.
  • Evaluation of performance and success. (self, instructor and client evaluation/feedback).
  • Professionalism includes: participation in class, attendence, attitude, timely submission of all assignments, etc.
