    Course Description:

    This course provides an opportunity for consulting and/or specialty project engineering work in support of a multidisciplinary clinic project. Work will be managed by the discipline manager. The course will also provide an overview of the role and responsibilities of the professional engineering consultant in society.  Special topical modules include: pattern recognition, advanced engineering statistical analysis, engineering ethics, societal responsibilities of the engineer and the 'other skills' of the engineer. 

    Instructional Objectives:

    By the end of this course, the student will be able to – 
    1. Identify, describe and market their unique technical and professional skill portfolio in electrical and computer engineering.
    2. Project manage and successfully complete a consultative or work management assignment
    3. Self-evaluate performance of consulting and/or specialty work completed for a client.


    Semester Hours: 1

    Prerequisites: Sophomore Engineering Clinic II.
