      Project Deliverables:

  • Expose students to the myriad of energy efficiency measures. 
  • Provide a rich experience in which the student audits and evaluates 1 Rowan University Building to learn the methods of energy analysis appropriate forbusiness and industry within southern New Jersey. 
  • Participation in specific topical activities and modules that will be announced via this website.
  • Students present their progress via bi-weekly team reports and/or presentations to keep the instructor informed of progress.
  • Two Oral Reports will be provided at the mid-term and end of the project: The Energy Review Panel will observe the final reports giving an overview of their plan and results and recommendations.
  • Progress Reports will be written and due dates are indicated by the syllabus.
  • Grading (1 credit portion of course):

     
    Energy Audits 60%
    Mid-Term Presentation and Written Reports 20%
    Final Report / Presentation to the Energy Review Panel 15%
    Professionalism 5%

     Classroom Policies:

  • Most course work will be completed in via research and data gathering from buildings and Excel spreadsheets will be used to perform economic evaluation.
