Project
Deliverables:
- Expose students to the
myriad of energy efficiency measures and technologies that can help
reduce greenhouse gas emissions on campus.
- Provide a rich
experience in which the student audits and evaluates 1 system of a Rowan
University Building (HVAC, building envelope or internal technology
inventory) or an advanced clean energy system (photovoltaics) to learn
the methods of energy analysis appropriate for a business or industry
within southern New Jersey needing to reduce CO2
emissions.
- Participation in
specific topical activities and modules that will be announced via this
website.
- Students present their
progress via bi-weekly team reports and/or presentations to keep the
instructor informed of progress.
- Two Oral Presentations
will be provided at the mid-term and end of the project: The Rowan
University Energy Review Panel will observe the final reports giving an
overview of their plan and results and recommendations.
- Progress Reports (1-3)
will be written and due dates are indicated by the syllabus.

Classroom Policies:
- Most course work will
be completed via research and data gathering from buildings and/or from
literature and Excel spreadsheets will be used to perform economic
evaluation.
