-JUNE 14TH, 2008-
Time for the not-so-monthly website update! A few things to talk about. First and foremost, we have an important show coming up on July 4th @ The Shed in Toms River; it's going to be Jon's last show on the drums with us (Flyer here). Since we have been touring so much over the last 8 months, we have been dedicating more and more time to the band. Since Jon just found himself with a lot of different priorities and unable to hit the road as much, we had to find another drummer who could come out on the road with us. We are going to miss him desperately (Tierney most of all, I'm sure), but definitely come out on the 4th for a great send off! We are going to be playing some extremely old songs, so it should be quite interesting to say the least.

Second, we just posted a ton of new pictures from the last tour(s) we have been on as well as some video from the Pennywise show @ The TLA. The pictures/video can be found going to the MEDIA section, or simply clicking here: April/May Pictures | New Song @ TLA, Border War @ TLA, All We Are @ TLA.

Thirdly, I just updated a !TON! of links including books, bands, art, movies, etc. etc. into the Links section of the site. If you have a few moments totally check these out (especially things like No Sweat, TryVeg, FairTrade, Skin Deep...it takes just a little effort to make a big difference by being more conscious of the things you consume). In addition, many of the videos/film that we recommend here can be viewed for free via places like SurftheChannel.com. Also, I just uploaded a flyer (Think/Care Flyer) that we created that we have been distributing at shows/on tour. Feel free to print them out or check out any of the info on there as well.

Also, just added a few more reviews of Never Suspend Disbelief in the Media section. Go check 'em!

Pretty sure that's it for now. If I remember more, I'll post it and it will seem like it was in the original update anyway.

See you on the 4th!

-MAY 19TH, 2008-
We just got back from tour in early May and have been returning to those "jobs" that the people in the real world go to. In the last 1.5 months we did about 5 weeks of touring, 2 with the Campaign 1984 from North Carolina and 3 with our new soul mates, Astpai, from Austria, Europe. Our time with Astpai was especially incredible; partly due to the fact that we had 10 smelly guys crammed in one van, but mostly due to the fact that they were some of the friendliest, down-to-earth, like-minded individuals we have had the pleasure of playing with. We should be posting pictures from both tours pretty soon and most likely some video footage as well, so keep an eye out. Overall, both tours were a blast and we can't thank both bands enough for coming out on the road. Aaaand, thanks eternally to all those who helped out in the last few weeks with places to crash, food/drink, and hospitality, we appreciate it.

As for future shows, the first thing we have coming up is the show in Philadelphia @ the TLA with Pennywise, Strung Out, and Authority Zero. We cannot say how freakin' stoked we are for this show. It should be a blast, so definitely come out if you are in the Philly/NJ area! Big thanks to TJ and Jeremy for considering us and getting us on the bill.

In the summer we also plan on playing some regional shows and possibly a week or 2 on the road, depending on how work schedules are and saving money for paying 'dem bills. On the horizon we have another 3 weeks of touring coming up shortly after summer and a pretty packed schedule once the New Year hits, including plans for getting over to Europe (!!!).

Finally, we are currently demo-ing some new tracks that we plan on recording and releasing as a 7" towards the end of summer, so stay tuned for more updates on that front as well.

That's about it for now, keep checking back for more updates and thanks for the continued support.

-MARCH 13TH, 2008-
Hello everybody! It's about time for our monthly update. We posted a new song (BURY THEM) on our MySpace from NEVER SUSPEND DISBELIEF. We also have a bunch of new reviews that came in, as well as a couple interviews, so they have been added to the Media section. I also posted a bunch of new links (some new films, websites, bands, etc.) in the Links section (go figure..) so definitely check those out.

And most importantly, we leave for tour in two days! We are doing two weeks with the Campaign 1984, then two weeks off, then almost three weeks with Austria punkers Astpai. It's gonna be a freakin' blast, so if you are in any of the areas we are hitting, definitely come and check it out!

See you on the road,
- Dan / OWC

-FEBRUARY 9TH, 2008-
Happy Delayed New Year! Just wanted throw a quick update up to the webpage with some of our recent activities. First, we are in the process of finalizing a video for "One More Fight" of the new record. From what we've seen so far, it looks pretty sweet, so we are definitely excited! Big thanks to all our friends who came out to the Shed on such short notice for the shoot.

Second, we are getting a bunch of reviews in from all over the place for the new record, with the vast majority being positive thus far (which are freakin' stoked about). You can find a list of the different reviews in the media section or by simply clicking here. Again, we send out eternal thanks to Chuck @ Bear Trap PR for working with us.

Lastly, shows! We are playing a handful of shows in February, then hitting the road again in both March (with The Campaign 1984) and April (with Astpai). Definitely come out if you get and chance, we are playing 3 dates in a row with our good friends Quarterlife Crisis in mid-February, as well as a handful with local sensations Dead Tired!

Third, all the lyrics for Never Suspend Disbelief have been posted up as well in the media section.

And as usual, the Links section has been updated with some new stuff. Check it out!

See ya at the next show.

-DECEMBER 21ST, 2007-

Hey everyone, just figured we'd post some news about the goings-on here in the world of OWC. We just got back from our three week long tour last Sunday and we have all gone back to work/the daily grind/etc. We can easily say with confidence that this past tour was the most fun/ rewarding/successful/<insert positive adjective here> tour yet. We can't thank all those involved (old friends and new) enough for the places to play, to crash, food, and overall good times. Special thanks to all those who set up shows in their area for us (Broc @ Taking on Explosives, Matt @ SOY, Todd @ The Davenport, Danielle & Offsides, Annie, Mirf @ Skelletones, Never Say Never, Latin for Truth, Soundlab & The Brewery, Rocky @ Budda's, and Corrupted Youth / the people at 10 Car Pile Up.)

We took a ton of pictures on tour and a good amount of video footage as well. Some pictures can be seen through our MySpace, however a much more comprehensive collection can be seen HERE on this Flickr Album we set up. Check 'em out if you have a minute.

Also, our new record, Never Suspend Disbelief (click here to listen to it @ PunkNews.Org), is also out now both physically and digitally. After a delay due to issues at the pressing plant you can now order the record online through Jumpstart Records and Interpunk, pick one up from us at a show, and hopefully soon enough at your local record store. It's also available for download at iTunes, eMusic, and Amazon. The record is also in the process of being sent out for reviews so once those start coming in we'll be sure to put them up online.

In terms of whats on the horizon we plan on hitting the road again in February for atleast 10 days and then again in March for 2-3 weeks. Once plans start turning into something more than that, we will be sure to let all know.

That's about it for now, see ya at the next show...
-Dan / OWC

P.S. Next show is an acoustic set at the Jump Start Records Holiday Extravaganza (I just made that up)...it's 12/22 @ Paddy's Well 1873 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia PA. Starts at 9! Be there, it's gonna be awesome ^_^

-OCTOBER 21ST, 2007-
Well, there is a lot to say and a lot going on in the OWC camp as of the last 2 months. We did a sweet tour where we met some awesome people, great bands, played some really great shows, and had our van break down on us! Overall, the tour was a sucess and we are in the process of booking our next excursion set to kick off the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The website has received some tender loving care with some additions in the way of links to new bands, zines, radio, causes, books, etc. Also, a new section of pictures from this Fall have been put into the MEDIA section so make sure you go check that all out.

One piece of important news is the slight delay of our (physical) record. Due to circumstances out of our control, we won't have any physical copies of the new CD on the 23rd. However, the record will still be released digitally (iTunes, eMusic, etc.) on time for all the techno-savy of the world who download punk rock music. Very, very soon a pre-order will start through Jump Start Records and we will get the physical copies out to the eager masses shortly!

We will have the record by our CD release show (we know there was some confusion as to when this would be...and we are sorry!!!) which is going to be at the TOMS RIVER SHOW SHED on Saturday, November 17th. Bands to be determined and a flyer will be made soon to unleash upon the masses.

That's about it for now, see you at the next show!

-AUGUST 17TH, 2007-

Hey everyone, it's been quite a while since our last update. We may have seemed dormant, but we have been anything but. Throughout the summer we have been booking/playing shows, going to shows, finalizing artwork, working our asses off at our respective jobs, and preparing for the release of our record and the subsequent touring that is to follow!

First, the new record is titled Never Suspend Disbelief and is set to be released on October 23rd on Jump Start Records. More importantly, you can listen to two songs from the record; one that we just posted on our myspace titled "One More Fight" and the second being the new version of "Border War" over at the Jump Start Records myspace. In the coming month we are also planning to record a video for "One More Fight" so definately keep an eye out!

Second, the artwork for the record is completely finished and we are totally stoked on the job that our friend Joe Lifrieri @ Saboteur Design (myspace.com/saboteurdesign) did for us. In honor of the new record we have finally changed our profile picture for the first time since the OWC myspace was created (thanks Joe!).

Third, we are in the midst of planning a rigorous touring schedule for the coming months, the first of which being a fall tour where we are going to share the stage with Giving Chase (Jump Start Records) and Incommunicado (A-F Records) for several of the dates.

The last piece of substantial news: We are proud to announce that we have lost our "van virginity" with the purchase of our new touring vehicle, a 15-passenger beast. After touring and dragging our trailer across the states with an Oldsmobile Cutlass, a minivan, and a borrowed SUV we are now set to hit the road with a real van....look out.

On a smaller note, we have other news/updates as well, including new pictures from some shows over the last couple months as well as updating some of the links on our website. Be sure to check those out if you have a minute or two.

Thats it for now...
See you at the next show.

-MAY 14TH, 2007-
Hello all, so much for the "monthly" update I guess! Well, we have all been extremely busy with other things these past couples months, including playing a couple shows, finishing up our collegiate studies (3/5 of us are now certified teachers, un-indoctrinating Americans 1 classroom at a time!), putting the final details on the new record, and sending it out for mastering with Alan Douches at West West Side. As for the here and now, we have a couple shows coming up and are continuing to book a bunch more for the upcoming summer. The new record is now finished and the artwork is worked on as I type this. In the not so distant future we will setting a release date, posting some new songs, and hitting the road!

In the meantime, check out our MYSPACE for a up to date listing of all upcoming shows. Also, there are some new links up, including bands, books, movies, etc. So go check 'em out! -See you all at the next show-

-FEBRUARY 4TH, 2007-
Hey everyone! It's time for the monthly update...The record is done being tracked and mixed, and we are extremely excited. Everything came together quite well and we can't wait to unleash it on the world! The mastering date has not been set yet, and the artwork is currently being developed. The record is set to be released sometime late to end of the summer.

Three of us are currently quite busy being student teachers in elementary and high schools scattered across New Jersey. However, we are currently booking shows for the weekends of the upcoming months, so come check us out if you get a chance.

The biggest update for this time around would be some new pictures in the MEDIA section. There are some cool studio shots as well as some pictures from our show last week in Lakewood, NJ! Big thanks to JOE LIFRIERI for the shots from the show.

Finally, GO HERE if you want to see a snippet of video of us in the studio. That's pretty much all for now...

-JANUARY 3RD, 2007-

Happy New Year everyone!!! Just a quick update: We are heading into the studio this Saturday to start recording our upcoming debut full length release that will be coming out on Jump Start Records in the coming months!! We will definately be posting pictures from the session including extensive footage of Nintendo Wii action during our downtime.

Also, I updated the LINKS section of the website with some really cool websites and literature. If you haven't seen AN INCONVIENENT TRUTH yet, go out and rent it, it is quite profound and eye-opening to see just how quickly we are destroying our natural environment and ultimately endangering our continued existence on this planet.

-DECEMBER 10TH, 2006-

I think it's about time that we update the website since we have a couple things to report. First off and most recently, you can order some brand new t-shirts and hoodies that we just got printed. The new designs are currently only available online through the Jump Start Records store. You can check 'em out and order by clicking here. Secondly, we've been extremely busy with writing, demoing, reworking, scrutinizing, and practicing all the new stuff for the upcoming full length. In addition to that we are extremely stoked to be working with Josh Latshaw of Boy Sets Fire in helping to produce the record. We head into the studio for a two week stretch starting on January 6th. Once the record is done being recorded we are going to get back to booking as many shows as possible for the winter and spring. As of now the release for the record is projected for mid to late summer, after which we will be hitting the road and touring the many states of this nation.
Lastly, I updated a couple things around the website including the links section, so check it out if ya have the time.

-OCTOBER 7TH, 2006-

Hey all, just a quick update with the latest happenings in the OWC world. But first we want to thank the bands we played with and the cool people we met these last two weeks, the shows were a blast. (Special thanks to all the kids in Mcadoo who always make driving 3 hours very worth it.)
The biggest event is that we have booked our studio time for our debut full length on Jump Start Records! We are going to be heading into Clay Creek Recording Studio in Newark, Delaware with Nick Rotundo in early January. We are extremely excited to be working with someone who has worked with bands we love, such as None More Black, Paint It Black, and Boy Sets Fire.
Also, the shows section has been updated and I added a few more links as well, so check it out if you have time.

-see everyone at the next show-

-SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2006-

New website design everyone! Hope ya like it! I know this is like the 2nd new web restructure in like the last 6 months, but I felt that we needed a more easily navigable and update-able website, so here it is. The site is also complete with updated pictures, music, and video for your viewing pleasure. Make sure you check out the LINKS section of the website, it is expanded greatly and chock full of great bands, news sources, causes/non-profits, and literature that are all definately worth checking out.

Also, just to keep everyone updated on the current activity of one win choice, we are playing and booking a handful in the coming months as we write, practice, and flesh out the new songs for our debut full length release for Jump Start Records. We will keep everyone posted with full length details as we plan them out and confirm everything.

That's pretty much it for now. Be sure to peruse the new design and leave us feedback, either via e-mail or MySpace, if you feel the need.
