| Courses Fall 2005 Courses Sub-Saharan Africa to 1800 (2205270) This course surveys the regions and cultures of sub-Saharan Africa from the earliest origins to the beginning of European colonialism to provide an appreciation of the variety and significance of historical developments prior to the coming of the Europeans. Women in African History (2205393) This course aims to aquaint students with the role of women in African history. It focues on the wide range of women's experinces and contributions to African history from earliest times to the modern times.
