I am a teacher who is dedicated to installing a true understanding of, and appreciation for, writing in my students. Writing, to me, is form of art. It enables people to express their thoughts, opinions, research, discoveries, creativity, and more, in a format that transverses all cultural, language, and time and space barriers. Writing is the ultimate way to communicate a semblance of our thoughts and knowledge, long after we are gone.

I currently teach English, specifically writing, at Paul VI High School, in Haddonfield, NJ. I am also an adjunct Professor at Camden County College, where I teach English Composition and Introduction to Literature. Resume

During the 2008/2009-school year I will be taking part in the Writers Matter program, a Philadelphia based division of the Freedom Writers Organization. The program attempts to install a love for writing in teenagers by teaching them the process of journalizing, and allowing them to deal with the issues they face as teens, through writing and group dynamics.

In addition to this, I am currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Writing program at Rowan University. In my free time, I enjoy freelance writing, reading, coaching basketball, and spending time with my two little boys.
