This is a focus lesson completed in my Teaching Literacy class in the Spring of 2008. I am the sole creator in this project and was suppose to give a lesson geared to one particular audience in the classroom setting.
This is a guided reading lesson I completed on the book "Because of Winn-Dixie." I created this in my Teaching Literacy course in the Spring of 2008. I was the sole creator in this project that was completed in Microsoft Word. I also created a Webquest that went along with this guided reading lesson that the students were also able to play with and use.
This is an essay that was completed to show my experiences in my placement at Lakeside Middle School. Even though I had a partner when I went to the school, this essay is completed individually and shares my experiences in the middle school setting. I typed this essay in Microsoft Word.
This is my first unit plan completed in the fall of 2008. This unit plan's theme is "Time" and was completed in the beginning of the semester in my Curriculum and Assessment course. I was the sole creator typing the assignment in Microsoft Word. I had to follow a syllabus that outlined certain sections I needed to complete, in order to achieve high remarks.
This is my second unit plan completed in the fall of 2008. This unit plan's theme is "The Middle Ages" and was completed in the middle of my semester in my Curriculum and Assessment course as I used Microsoft Word to type. I had to add three summaries of lessons I would teach during the unit, and one complete lesson to be taught.
This is my third unit plan completed in the fall of 2008. This unit plan's theme is "Body Image" and was completed at the end of my semester in my Curriculum and Assessment course. This contains four full lesson plans as well as a reflection from teaching one particular lesson.
