Current Research

My recent research has focused on minority groups.  The second edition of my textbook, Dominant-Minority Relations in America, will come out in early 2007. I have also edited a reader entitled Minority Voices. The research done for these publications, along with the continued input from student Family Background Research projects has stimulated my interest in
collective memory and minority groups. I have given several papers on the subject and am currently developing a research project that will focus on manifestations of collective memory and minority groups in our society.
