The next morning we noticed the view out our hotel window was not so good.

 

We took a riding tour of Munich the next morning. The palatial (old) Palace of Justice was constructed in 1890-1897 by the architect

Friedrich von Thiersch in neo-baroque style at the west side of the Karlsplatz (Stachus).

 

This is the Bernheimer-Haus, a neo-baroque building. It was built in 1887–1889 for Lehmann Bernheimer (1841–1918),

a merchant to the royal Bavarian court.

The family lost title during the Nazi period.

 

 

This is the State Museum of Classical Art (Antikensammlung ) in Konigsplatz.

The square used during the Third Reich as a square for the Nazi Party's mass rallies.
