Pump Fest 2002
Fluid Mechanics I
Pump Fest 2002 was held on October 28, 2002 in the Rowan University
Water Resources Engineering Laboratory at 8:30 a.m. Now in its third
year, PumpFest is the culmination of a four week project where third-year
Civil and Environmental Engineering students design, build, test, and evaluate
positive displacement pumps. Pumps are evaluated in three categories:
-
Maximum flowrate
-
Maximum pressure head
-
Pump closest to design flow rate of 1 liter per minute
