The projects require exceptional problem solving, analytical thinking and programming skills (particularly in C/C++ and Matlab). Background in pattern recognition, in particular machine learning algorithms, such as artificial neural networks, is highly desired, though not required. For all applicants, regardless of native language, adequate oral and written communication skills commensurate with the requirements of graduate work is expected. The position will pay for in-state graduate tuition at Rowan University, as well as a stipend for one year, with possible extension to a second year, based on availability of the funds.
