These pages are intended to inform the respective cyber-citizens of the world about one of the best kept secrets of the world: Turkey!
These pages show some of my favorite places in Turkey. Some of them are from postcards, some of them are from travel guides, and some of them are from my camera.
This page is the starting point of a remarkable photographic journey, from which you can hop to any region of the country that you wish. This page used to include the entire journey, which has now over 100 images totalling over 7 MBs. The growing content of this journey forced me to split the page into several subpages, where each subpage features one of the six geographical regions of Turkey, namely Istanbul and Marmara Region, The Aegean Region, The Mediterranean Region, The Heartland, The Eastern Anatolian Region, and The Black Sea Region. I will continue to include more images as they become available, as I have done so far since the first version of this photographic journey which dates back to July 1995.
Please feel free to download any of the pictures you want, but please do not forget to cite it, so that everyone else can visit this page. I also would like to note that I would very much appreciate any comments that you may have regarding these pages. Your comments will more that compensate the hundreds of hours and endless efforts that went into the preparation of these pages.
