Course Description:

This course covers the design and development of modern digital communications systems. This includes baseband and bandpass digital signaling techniques along with appropriate mathematical background in random processes. Both software and hardware designs are introduced. Contemporary applications and their associated standards will be discussed.

Prerequisites: Electrical Communications Systems (0909-331) or equivalent.
