Course Organization

This course is primarily project based - there are no assignments, quizzes
or exams. Lectures will primarily geared towards providing the necessary
theroretical background for conducting the research projects.

You are expected to choose a research project from a set of available projects
and execute this project over the course of the semester.

You are required to conduct a literature survey for supporting your chosen
research project.

The final course deliverable is a journal publication -quality research
paper.

You are expected to actively participate in classroom discussions and be
prepared to orally present a report of research activity at every class
meeting.

Monthly written progress reports of research activity is required for all
projects.
