Nina Stubblebine & James Viola: Nina Stubblebine and James Viola will show a series of landscape photographs in an exhibition, "Implications Are Subjective," at High Street Gallery.
The photographs depict the two artists' travels in the US and abroad, sharing the artists' experience of a particular location. Through documentation, the artists are able to present new dimensions of a landscape that might have gone unnoticed. Individual experience is explored through each artists' seperate travels; yet exploration of a new place and a desire to capture this fascination with the unfamiliar connect their work. Color and black and white digital images will be on display.
The show will be up May 7 to May 17, opening reception will be on May 7.
