Jackie graduated from Rowan University with a BA in writing arts on May 15 2009. She has been working at her favorite fashion retail store for three years. Although she has great co-workers, a close relationship with customers, and a nice discount on her favorite clothes, Jackie doesn't want to work in the mall forever. She some day hopes to earn a Master's degree in the field of publishing. Her career plans after school include; working for a popular magazine's art department in laying out the magazine pages, working on the creative team for a fashion catalog, or owning her own company.

Jackie loves her family and pets, her Macbook, Mini Cooper, Blackberry, Hampton Beach Cruiser, and NJ beach house. She enjoys cooking pasta salad, watching movies in her sweatpants with friends, writing about life, traveling to the Florida Keys and Europe, reading (some authors--see home page), thunderstorms, and everything about Philadelphia (including the Phillies and the Eagles). She is fascinated by her younger siblings and by her own generation. Much of her inspiration for writing comes from people watching (working in the mall is a huge help). Just living her life gives her inspiration for writing as well as photography.

Jackie is very excited to be pursuing graduate studies upon graduating from undergraduate studies. She hopes to learn everything there is to know about owning a business, and creating media inspired by the relationship of words and pictures.
