Jackie created this magazine in InDesign, for her advanced pub layout class, spring 2009. While most of this project is to showcase her layout design, and contains placeholder text, the "Editor's Note" (PDF page 4, magazine page 2) and the "Book Reviews article" (PDF page 12, magazine page 10) were written by Jackie. The article itself was researched and written for an evauluating writing course, also spring 2009.
This is a children's picture book written and illustrated by Jackie for her writing children's stories course, spring 2009. While most of the book contains simple drawings for the illustrations, the first few pages represent Jackie's picture ideas for the rest of the book. She hopes to have this completed by the end of the summer.
"The CSS Zen Garden is a World Wide Web development resource. The goal of the site is to showcase what is possible with CSS-based design. Style sheets contributed by graphic designers from around the world are used to change the visual presentation of a single HTML file, producing hundreds of different designs. Aside from reference to an external CSS file, the HTML markup itself never changes(Wikipedia.org)." This is the CSS layout Jackie designed for this project in her web design class (summer 2008). She hopes to perfect it and send her entry this summer.
This menu was created in QuarkXpress for advanced pub layout. Jackie created the background image in Photoshop, captured the front page image, and wrote all of the copy, including original recipes.

This newsletter was created in QuarkXpress for a publication layout and design in the fall of 2007 and updated in the spring of 2009. All articles were written by Jackie. The image of Elle Magazine was gathered from www.lacasonapaiz.com. The images of the camera and the pen with paper are Clipart.
