Courses

Freshman clinic is the first introduction of general engineering to the freshmen. The students will rotate among the modules.

Sophomore Clinics

This is a course for all Engineering disciplines. The topic varies with years, but will always provide a common experience.

Dynamics is the foundation of Mechanical Engineering. It provides an overview of motion and force for particles and rigid bodies.

This is the nuts and bolts of ME. You will learn the failure analysis of shafts and parts, the usage of gears, bearings, fasteners, etc.

A core course of mechanical system. Motion and force analysis of linkages will be studied and the study will be supplemented with a hands-on project to build a real mechanism.

A successful engineer needs skills of both mechanical and electrical engineering. This course provides a head start with an integral approach on electro-mechanical engineering.

This is a senior ME course offered every fall. The topic includes physical and mathematical modeling of a mechanical system and the linear control of such system.

This is a senior course to expose the students on the emerging engineering topics. Some examples include Remotely Operated Vehicle, engineering ethics, assistive technology, bio-engineering, etc.
