Cognitive
Celebrations
You will have two
cognitive celebrations (tests) during the semester. These will be
in addition to your final exam.
Date due:
Cognitive Celebration 1 in class on Nov 3
- The content for the cognitive
celebration will come from:
- Powerpoint presentations
(Introduction, Intro and Standards, DOE Steps to Standards,
DOE short, Lessons of the Geese, Education Trends, Designing
the Curriculum, Scope and Sequence, and Curriculum Models)
NJCCCS FAQs, and class discussion. All powerpoints are on
the Resources
page.
- It will be a multiple
choice/true-false test using a Scantron sheet. It will
not take the entire class.
- Bring a #2 pencil
and
Cognitive
Celebration 2 in class on Dec
8
- The content for the cognitive
celebration will come from:
- Powerpoint presentations [Curriculum Models,
Implementation, Equipment: Selection and Purchase, Lesson
Plans and video clips, Assessment, Class Management,
Advocacy, HALL program AND any other PPTs we get to....]
and class discussion. All powerpoints are on the Resources
page.
- It will be a multiple
choice/true-false test using a Scantron sheet. It will
not take the entire class.
- Bring a #2 pencil
