- Description
- Connect the leads of the capacitance meter to opposite terminals of the rotary capacitor. Turn the capacitance meter on to the 2000 pF setting and observe the capacitance. Turn the dial slowly and watch the capacitance change as more of the metal plates overlap. There are two rotary capacitors on the shelf, so you can have the students pass them around to see the design.
