- Purpose
- To provide visual demonstration of the properties of flat, concave and convex mirrors.
- Location
- room 146, shelf O6 (assorted plane mirrors and a round, concave �makeup� mirror)(left photo); large concave and convex mirrors (with explanatory manual) are on old ripple tank stand by wall adjoining room 144
- Description
- These mirrors permit students to observe the properties of the different kinds of mirrors.
- (Safety Note: Do not expose the large concave mirror to direct sunlight, as it may concentrate it at a hot spot, possibly causing burns or a fire.)
