- Description
- While holding onto the string attached to the tuning fork strike the tuning fork sharply on the bottom of your shoe so the pitch emitted is loud enough for the students to hear. After this is done proceed to swing the tuning fork overhead in a circular motion in order for them to hear the Doppler Effect. It is best to be done in an open space and for you to wrap the string around your hand a few to times to shorten the string and assure the string doesn�t slip from your hand so that no one is injured during the demonstration.
