- Description
- Before using the large manometer, loosen or remove the stopper in the end that opens to atmosphere. Squeeze the bulb on the syringe to change the pressure on the other leg of the manometer and observe the columns of colored water change height due to the differential pressure.
The smaller manometer can be used to demonstrate how changes in atmospheric pressure can be measured.
- Be sure to return the stopper to the open end when finished to prevent spillage and evaporation. (Prop up open end with block if returning to shelf.)
