- Purpose
- To demonstrate that, at sufficiently high speed, the centripetal force and acceleration exceed the downward force of gravity; hence the water continues to press against the cup and doesn't spill.

- Description
- Fill the cup half way with water and put a drop of food coloring in to make it more visible to students. Center it on the tray and begin swinging it in a large vertical circle.
