- Purpose
- To create a bridge out of meter sticks, that extends more than a meter beyond the table.
- Location
- room 136, Vertical Bins (4 meter sticks are needed, 5 are recommended)
- Description
- Place one meter stick on the table with slightly less than half of it extending beyond the edge of the table. Now place a second meter stick beneath the first so it supports the same portion of the first meter stick as did the table. Move the two meter sticks together to extend as far as possible without them tipping off. Now place a third meter stick under the second so as to support the first two just as the table had, and move them together to extend as far as possible without them tipping off. Continue this procedure with the other meter sticks.
