- Purpose
- To demonstrate conservation of linear momentum.

- Room 136, shelf N4 (Track is on shelf U4 but is not necessary.)
- Description
- Two carts are fixed together with Velcro and a loaded spring mechanism between them (top). The trigger is tripped and the spring pushes the carts apart with velocities inversely proportional to their masses, but net momentum remaining zero.
