After you read the

Enlightenment Treatises
and Source 28 in MWH

answer the following question set: What do the documents reveal about what the philosophes (the authors/thinkers) believed about learning and education? What sort of utility did they believe that collecting information held? How was the collection of information carried out, according to these texts? Cite the documents directly as evidence for your own arguments (about what the authors argued).
