Equiangular Tight Frames (ETF)

About this project:

This research project seeks to construct partitions of equiangular tight frames (ETF) whose spectral norms satisfy bounds specified in the work of Marcus, Spielman, and Srivastava on their positive solution of the Kadison-Singer problem.

Goals

1. Find partitions for ETFs generated from recursive skew-symmetric conference matrices that meet the MSS bounds.

2. Find partitions that give sharper bounds than those given by MSS.

3. Extend results to other constructions of conference matrices.
