Around middle school, I got my first mobile phone, and access to my own Instagram page. Social media was a fairly popular concept at my school, so we all tried grasping at our potential popularity. I created this persona of a suave gentleman, because that's what I thought popularity was. Suffice to say, I was not very popular.
