Course Deliverables:

  • Research and present an approved topic on an emerging/state-of-the-art area in electrical and computer engineering. Topics should be chosen from the following broad areas:
    • Systems and Controls
    • Robotics
    • Power Generation & Transmission
    • Solid-state electronics
    • Nanotechnology
    • DSP
    • Telecommunications
    • Electromagnetics
    • Computer Architecture
    • Software
    • Bio-engineering
    • Emerging technologies related to ECE (discuss with instructor)
  • A PowerPoint file should be made available to the intructors prior to your presentation - this will be posted on the class website.
  • Evaluation of assigned peer presentations. Assignments will be made by the intructor.
  • Grading:

     
    Presentation 75%
    Peer Evaluation 20%
    Professionalism 5%

Classroom Policies:

  • As per the Rowan College of Engineering policy, no eating or drinking in the classrooms and laboratories.
