I joined the Rowan biology department in September 2014. Prior to this I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Arizona where I was funded from the NIH Postdoctoral Excellence in Research and Teaching program at the Center for Insect Sciences. I received Ph.D. in Biology at the Centre for Social Evolution, University of Copenhagen, Denmark and Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biology at the University of South Alabama. I am currently teaching Microbiology, Introduction to Genetics, and Special Topics: Host-Pathogen Interactions and Symbionts.
