Attendance Policy

Attendance is required. For a valid reason, obtain approval from instructor before the class. The only exception to this rule is a medical emergency.
Attendance is essential for success in this class. If excessive absenteeism occurs without a valid reason, points will be deducted from the overall grade.

Exams will cover material both from lectures, reading, and homework assignments. If you miss a class, work with your fellow students to obtain notes for the missed lectures. Only University approved absences will be accepted for missing exams (however, it is strongly discouraged and frowned upon).
