Section B. (Content Standards and Lesson
Objectives)
This section answers the crucial question: "what
will
my pupils accomplish today?" Great teachers understand that
objectives
spell out pupil outcomes. A lesson plan is about the pupils, not
the teacher.
Section B will include:
-
Psychomotor,
Cognitive,
Affective
-
(By the end of the lesson, the student
will...)
-
The objectives should be identifiable with the
relevant
content standard and CPI
-
If you have written your unit plan thoroughly,
you should
be able to copy and paste the objectives from that plan
-
Two psychomotor objectives, two cognitive and
one affective
objective should be average for a good lesson plan.
-
Well written objectives identify observable,
measurable
outcomes and therefore imply assessment of those objectives
