Project 3: SoC implementation of a quadrature mirror filter (QMF) bank

The DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) is one example of transform coding that is used in contemporary image/video processing. This project, though digital in its implementation, builds upon the interface between analog signal processing in a communications system and prepares the student for further coursework in Mixed-Signal circuit design. Three experiments were developed and used for the Freshman Clinic I (Experiment 1) course and the Computer Engineering Core Elective course (Experiments 2 & 3).
