Since September 2014 I am an Assistant Professor with
a dual appointment in Department of Biological
Sciences and in the Department of Biomedical and
Translational Sciences at Rowan. I obtained my B.S. in
Biology and Ph.D. from the University of Lausanne. I
then obtained two postdoctoral fellowships from the
Swiss National Science Foundation to work at the
Wistar Institute and the University of Pennsylvania in
Philadelphia. At PENN, I developed an independent
NIH-funded research program on herpes simplex virus
and became an assistant professor at the School of
Dental Medicine and a Senior Research Investigator at
the School of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to
mentoring students in my lab, I am teaching
Introduction to Cell Biology (BIO3) and Foundations in
Biology for Biomedical Science (FBBS1 and 2).
