Teaching / Advising
Dr.
Wei Xue has covered a wide range of mechanical engineering and
electrical engineering topics for teaching. He has developed and taught
courses such as Intro to Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Devices,
Microfabrication, Nanotechnology, MEMS, Engineering Materials, and
Renewable Energy. Dr. Xue has worked with a number of graduate students
(M.S.-level) and many of them have been admitted with full scholarships
to top engineering programs (e.g., Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon
University) in the nation. He received the highest teaching award,
2011-2012 Students' Award for Teaching Excellence, by the Teacher of
the Year Committee at Washington Sate University Vancouver in 2012.
